Anyone else get weird messages left by strange people on their answering machine or in voice mail?

I got home tonight and found a message from some woman speaking some language that sounds oriental, but I have no clue if it is Chinese, Korean (was that you KM?) or what. Doesn't matter, since I don't understand any of them. The only word I understood in the whole message was the word "extension"- I think she was giving me a phone extension at the end of the message to call her back.
She's going to be waiting quite awhile for that call.

That was my gramma, it's not oriental, it's her medicine.

ive never had that happen to me. Though I wish it did cuz that would be pretty cool.

I have however, gotten a call from an elderly lady wanting me to come over quick cuz she broke her clock and couldnt fix it on her own. I felt bad that I wasnt actually who she wanted.

I had an old lady call at least a dozen times leave a message for "Steven" even though I clearly say my name on my machine.

When I first moved in to my current place, I'd constantly get messages left by 10 and 12 year-olds. Never knew why, but it just kinda stopped after awhile. I think the fact that one of my friends answered the phone as the County Morgue once helped:)

i got a new cell phone at the beginning of the year, and so, a new cell phone #.

a few days after i'd gotten the it, i got a call from some VERY upset lady. she started screaming at me the instant i clicked into the call, something about her husband and me. then she called me bad names and hung up.

i shrugged and went back to my life.

the next morning, i got a call from the same (i think) woman, but this time she was threatening to call me every hour and harass me because i was having an affair with her husband.

i called my phone company and got my number changed at the conclusion of the call. didn't want to wait around to see if she was EVER gonna realize i was NOT the woman she intended to be yelling at or not, you know?

thanks MysteryJKR!

That's nice of you to say.
Guru made it - and two others, too.
He's a true artist with this kinda thing.

I'll just switch av's around as the mood strikes me, i guess.
