It's all I can think of when I see those hotdog vendor carts in New York and believe it or not, my thoughts spiral even farther downhill from there.

It's just plain wrong to me. On every level.

Some quick comments on the Isolated Blurt Thread about the business aspect of it sounded interesting. Hey, it may just be "good business" but it isn't something I'd pursue first hand. Makes me wonder...

Would you eat food from a cart or truck?

The truck vendor that used to come to our construction sites, well, when the guys complained about the coffee...he said...thats because we make it with the weiner water:D

Awww, so no answers? How's a gal supposed to acquire the sample standard deviation? Insight people, I was hoping for insight.

I trust my math to prove or negate wide sweeping statements made by people (persons?) with bias - otherwise known as media. Oh, well. I suppose no answer is an answer. Just not as much fun.

deep sigh

I will be in the city in August, I will go eat from one of them. But if it kills me, I'm haunting you.

I can't say anything about New York, but in my city we have about 20 different food trucks. This does not include the construction site roach coach variety. I haven't seen one of those in years. There are a crepe truck, a taco and burrito truck and tamale, a Cuban sandwich truck, barbecue trucks, and several snowcone and icecream trucks.

These food trucks usually set up in front of a business as a joint promotion. I've had nights when there were a half dozen or more in my parking lot. Facebook and twitter does all the advertising and people hang around until late at night. It's a big street party.

Maybe it's warm food that makes me squeamish on the rolling food vehicles 'cuz I think I wouldn't hesitate to buy a snow cone or ice cream from a truck.

Something for everyone I suppose.

Denver food trucks must have kickass breakfast burritos or they will soon be out of business.

The food is prepared on the truck. It's a rolling kitchen.
