Web Cams....

So I bought a Web Cam to make myself happy today....

I can't adjust the god damn color, and it looks too grainy.
Any suggestions on how to figure out how to make the pictures look better?

It's a Logitech quick cam....

there's not a little icon on the top left of the frame.. you know.. where it usually gives you the option to:

move
size
minimize
close

that you can click on? (i don't mean the right side that has the 'x' to close) mine has an option to 'adjust video'.. brings up another screen to adjust color, brightness, sharpness.. etc.

Thats the problem I can bring up the screen with contrast and stuff but it has slide bars and I can't figure out the right settings to make it look decent

what i do is have the frame on one side of the moniter.. and the adjustment screen on the other half.. i can view the changes as i make them..

can yours do that?

I havent lost weight just look like death...no make up and I haven't been sleeping good.

And yes I can look at it while adjusting it but, I just cant get it right.....
the first few pictures I took didnt look have bad but then I fucked up the color and stuff again and now I can't even get it that close.

do you have a 'restore defaults' button?

turn up the 'brightness' and 'sharpness' and turn down the 'saturation'... might help?

See i couldn't do the web cam thing.. it would take me hours.. to get "ready" to go online.. kinda like when i go out drinking.. it's just not worth it.. lol

It turns the picture into a giant grainy red blob.

yep, if you can't restore your defaults, start over from scratch

but then, i don't own a webcam so advice from me is about as useful as....(shit, must be a million cute sayings to plug in here, but right now i can't think of a single one)

I 'can' restore default but the default looks like a red blob. Ugh....I'll mess with it when I got home from work tonigt.

Mistress, the webcam is a mystery to me too. These pics were taken about 1 second apart, by my husband. No lighting was changed, nothing changed, except that I moved out of the picture...but look at the results. . .
