Grumble-grumble

"Heading into the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, a storm system is moving into Southcentral bringing snow and rain.

A high wind warning is in effect for Anchorage hillside and Turnagain Arm locations. Southeast winds 30-50, gusting 60-80 miles per hour are expected. The warning goes through 5 am Thursday. Already gusts on Wednesday afternoon hit 75 in the upper hillside area.

Around Anchorage and the Matanuska Valley, expect snow showers to start up early in the afternoon. Temperatures will continue to warm through the evening hours and that snow is expected to turn to rain. A Winter Storm Warning is in place from noon Wednesday until Thursday afternoon in the Susitna Valley. Snow totals there are expected between 12 to 25 inches with some isolated areas getting 32 inches of snow."
