All these wonderful pictures make me miss Alaska. I was lucky enough to spend a summer there about 23 years ago and it was a life changing experience for me.

I was just talking to a group of guys heading up there for a vacation. I need to add that to my bucket list. I've seen some beautiful Wilderness areas here in Arizona and along the Salmon River in Idaho, but none of that seems to compare to the grandeur of those huge open space is in Alaska.

One of the last areas of unimpeded bye bye man views of the Native Sonoran Desert here just got power poles this year.
