Good article. I think it failed to express just how many people and trash that is left behind though. I think that may be some of the reason that people don't like to fish it anymore.
Fascinating article (and the photographs are eye-opening). It's a little disturbing to see all that roe go to waste.
I haven't seen it first hand but the eleven photographs definitely communicate that this is an elbow-to-elbow mob of people.

Because of vacay and other circumstances, I missed this year's chaos, not sure I would have gone anyhow. Instead, I just got back from sending an empty cooler and $100 cash to the westside and on Wednesday will be delivered 100 lbs of fresh reds. Cleaned!
