We do not drag posts between Lit boards.

Cross dragging posts across the board?
Can someone please provide an example of this here and now so I may know to spot?

I kid. I kid. Ignore me.
No. Don't ignore it. As old as I am, these new vocabulary words like threads and cross-dragging crap sound like foreign languages. [Cross-dragging - that's not cross-dressing?] What's the issue here, I mean? I read this as some prissy crap between someone feuding, but I really haven't a clue. No one is supposed to talk about someone else in another place here? Who made that up?

Is there some etiquette in these conversations? That's not obvious from the language, vile accusations, and such. Civility seems not to be the rule; rather it's the exception.

So, please, don't ignore explaining if there are some rules that one should apply. Otherwise, it seems ignorance remains blissful for almost everybody here.

It's frustrating. I do wish they would take a more active approach in monitoring things here.

This is literally the only site left on this side of the Dark Web that let's people get away with actual threats of violence. I never understood how a site devoted to sexual topics would attract so many right wing nut bags. But these nut bags are showing up in many other threads and it is giving this site a creepy vibe.
Rory and Rob can better recall how it all happened, maybe Lovecraft, KeithD and a few others too. The PB was an offshoot of the General Board. The GB was always un-moderated and after so much gunk started to clutter that up, the PB was spawned as yet another un-moderated board. The better term may be 'less moderated' as there are no assigned Mods and all reports and subsequent actions are handled by Admin only.

It's long been a rule here not to kink-shame. The very nature of the site says people will like things that others don't. There are also rules about not harassing others. Recently some of the violent quotes from here have been spread to the other various boards in an attempt to shame certain members. That isn't what Lit is about.

There have always been issues with the Busybody and the Vetteman types. There have always been wild accusations and difference of right, left and otherwise. But overall, people got along and had relatively productive conversations ... or fights.

It's only been since '16 and the onset of the divisionism that caused that we've seen such overtly violence prone posts. I don't think Lit was prepared for that, as many sites were not. The half dozen or so Mods working other boards don't get a lot of insight as to what Admin is thinking or when or how they'll make changes, until after they happen.

Report the post. Let Laurel decide. Shes DOES act on reports here as we've seen quite a few times in the past, including banning posters.

All due respect, that's not my observation.

Perhaps if you stopped reporting erry single post that makes you angry you'd have a better response rate.

I only report the most egregious stuff, but then I'm a bigger man than you'll ever be, plus I know how to use the "ignore" button.

On the topic of kink-shaming, one complex issue that came up a while ago involved the poster known as "Kinked A Bit." On the BDSM board he tried to come across as this submissive, sensitive, kinky bottom type, but on this sub-forum he was posting all kinds of racist garbage. I reported some of his posts here, for some of the hate-mongering stuff he was spouting, but I don't think people in the BDSM form realized what kind of person he truely was. I didn't say anything there, but I wonder if I should have?

That isn't my board.

@ToPleaseHim

I remember that post.

Reread this thread for content. All of it. I think you'll see my point.

There are a couple of other posts in a couple of different threads which also prove your point.
