We already have a hall monitor. As much as I think people should be held accountable for their views, it isn't the best idea to drag posts from here to other parts of the site, nor vice versa.
It isn't being a good Litizen no matter how unpleasant and distasteful the Litser is.

Then applies the rules to the poster here IE Warning first, then Ban if they disregard. Attempting to incite violence against other is something that should not be allowed, and if it currently isn't,then Laurel should make it that way. Otherwise those post will again show up elsewhere. As much as I think people should be held accountable for their views, it isn't the best idea to drag posts from here to other parts of the site, nor vice versa.

The way to do that is to report the posts and enter a reason such as 'inciting or advocating violence'. Let Laurel decide if action should be taken. Then applies the rules to the poster here IE Warning first, then Ban if they disregard. They have been reported, repeatedly. If this action gets what needs to be done, I'm fine with the consequences. The way to do that is to report the posts and enter a reason such as 'inciting or advocating violence'. Let Laurel decide if action should be taken.
Dragging posts to other boards could have the opposite effect in getting the poster who does it sanctioned. Most of those posts have already been removed.
What’s the proper procedure when a troll posts a nonpolitical thread on the Politics Board? As much as I think people should be held accountable for their views, it isn't the best idea to drag posts from here to other parts of the site, nor vice versa.

See look at you being the level headed one…What’s the proper procedure when a troll posts a nonpolitical thread on the Politics Board?
Breaking news! JPC is crazy! I wouldn’t know of his recent posts since I ignored that guy after seeing like 3 posts. He is many bricks short of a full load.I was sorely conflicted a few days ago.
"JoePepsiCo" shitposted something here that directly contradicted something he had sworn to Skyfather was not true a few years back....what a shock, amirite?
Unfortunately, his original shitpost containing him swearing the opposite was buried on the General Board.
I really wanted to bump the old post to show a side-by-side comparison of yet another example of Situational Red Man Speak With Forked Tongue™ , but that would have been a technical violation of the TOS about bumping ancient posts (no matter how relevant today) and Skyfather knows I'm all about following the rules.
In the end, I figured errybody already knew that JoePepsiCo was a lying son of a squaw and let it slide
All things in moderation.
Report the post. Let Laurel decide. Shes DOES act on reports here as we've seen quite a few times in the past, including banning posters. What’s the proper procedure when a troll posts a nonpolitical thread on the Politics Board?

That could fall under a rule about identifying members. My favorite cross posting is when @icanhelp1 thinks his handle is his actual affect, and he quoted some of my GB posts claiming he knew who I was here on the PB.
Just so comical seeing that his “research” was so wrong but he was sure he was right.
So you are saying I should report @icanhelp1 for his lame attempts? That could fall under a rule about identifying members.
You may not post any personal information of Literotica members or any other person. We do not allow the posting of phone numbers, email addresses, private messages, or quotes from private emails to be posted on the forum. This rule also prohibits the posting of real names, employment info, locations, age, and any other personal information that we deem inappropriate.

The only time I go there is when it's obviously a BB or Botany Boy ID. I usually report those to Laurel also using the Report button on the Profile Page.
.
What about quoting posts from one thread to another within the same board? As much as I think people should be held accountable for their views, it isn't the best idea to drag posts from here to other parts of the site, nor vice versa.
It isn't being a good Litizen no matter how unpleasant and distasteful the Litser is.
That isn't a problem. What about quoting posts from one thread to another within the same board?
This is literally the only site left on this side of the Dark Web that let's people get away with actual threats of violence. I never understood how a site devoted to sexual topics would attract so many right wing nut bags. But these nut bags are showing up in many other threads and it is giving this site a creepy vibe.I see people on here threatening political violence all the time, (e.g. "You can't stop what's coming!") posting racist hate-speech content all the time, and nothing ever happens, and there are seldom any repercussions. Maybe one of the racist trolls gets banned once in a while but guess what- he pops right back up the very next day with a new screen ID (or two, or three...) and just keeps carrying on like nothing's happened. It's frustrating. I do wish they would take a more active approach in monitoring things here. Ban new alts the instant they appear, check IP addresses or do a better job of verifying people so they can't just keep creating new aliases. There is obviously nothing they can do to stop people from using multiple aliases; BB and Icanhelp1 are by no means the only offenders here (but clearly the most prominant.)
