Question: If it's okay to print money to pay for things we can't tax for, why do we need taxes? Think on that for a while Joe.
 
Yet another day has passed and Wat wasn't killed in the night or hauled off by the alphabets.


We have to keep up appearances, so we raise taxes and print mo' money. But every time we print money, you and I, they want to talk about Felony Charges. So it's a classic case of Rules For Thee But Not For Me.


Speaking of, we're about past due for a Lit death and/or a board flame-out.

I survived as well.

Today is machine shop day. I'm going to be grinding down the stripper clip hump while my buddy cuts some threads. Time permitting I'll square off the bolt face as well.
 
And here we were told how guns kill people.


I wonder if you have to pay extra for non-defective ones.


One more reason to like very old M1s. They may well have killed somebody, or even several somebodys . . . .
 
What about an Oldsmobile that has killed more people than millions of legally owned AR 15's?

I know! If we let a pregnant girl drown we can make it all the way to the Senate!
 
Wat is the biggest badass his mind has ever met, which is like a donut bragging about its ability to build tight abs.
 
I think that they got her planted quick to avoid "detection."


Wat seems to have perused through another day of annoying workers, local gummint officials, and slightly overbearing supervisors, and yet each and every one of them is headed home safely and will be with their families for supper. No murders.


Even the gun(s) didn't take it up on itself/themselves to off some folks.


Apparently, guns don't kill people after all . . . .
 
Yanno, Lit libturds should embrace and cherish that Wat gelds them routinely. As badly as "real men" are being pulled through the wringer in the press these days, when Wat takes the sac, then they can express their plausible deniability and avoid the dreaded Guilt by Association.


Of course, they will still have to associate with one another, but that's a level of pathos that Sentient Life manages to avoid.
 
One more day and the machine work will be done. I'm still stuck on the bolt welding issue. It can be done with Oxy-Acetylene or stick but TIG is the preferred choice. No worries, I'll figure it out even if I have to get a bolt jig and do it myself.
 
Wat has posted multiple meme's concerning the consequences of a disarmed populace. Me? I'm going to come at it from a different angle.

Precisely WHY do a segment of US politicians want to disarm the public? Yes, yes, I'm well aware of their prima facie statements, "We need to stop the senseless killings." And many other statements to the same effect. OK, fine, I can understand the STATED motive. They're going to make you "safe." Or are they?

There is a profound disconnect between what they say and what they do. I look at cities like Chicago, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and others where these same people that are demanding the disarming of the citizenry are allowing carnage to occur that is mind boggling in nature. They are fully aware that their 'gun control' dreams will have no effect at all as far as the general populace is concerned, they don't care about the general populace. What do they care about? They care about their own welfare. They want themselves to be safe, you are just a statistic. They have armed security, they want you to have NONE.

They, the policy makers, are well aware of why the second amendment exists. It's not for hunting or for personal self-defense, those are merely beneficial side effects. The purpose is as a check against a government that has grown too large and tyrannical.

Internal and external forces are driving a wedge between the citizenry. We are most certainly on the path to a bloody civil war. We are already at war with each other, just no bloodshed..................yet. I hope that we, collectively, come to our senses and I'm seeing some evidence that we are. At the same time I see evidence that there is a lunatic fringe that are not going to accept that reality without resorting to violence.

SHTF is not a single day. It's a very long bowel movement by Deplorables.
 
If one can find a M1 receiver, there is a place up the road ^^^^^^ that will build a John C. Garand match rifle on it for not a Hell of a lot more than some of this not-gold-plated-but-priced-like-it stuff for sale. Of course, it's tough to find a bare receiver. There's one for sale - and priced like it's gold.
