Yes. Confiscate them. That’s EXACTLY what she said.Or, IOW, confiscate them.
If we make firearms inconvenient and expensive to own, America’s gun problem will take care of itself without the government having to confiscate anything.Or, IOW, confiscate them.
We don’t need to confiscate guns. If a weapon is made illegal, sensible law-abiding owners will surrender it voluntarily rather than run the risk of being found out.

Doogie Perry Mason Howser here is trying to deflect because, as is continually demonstrated here, abiding to any passed laws placing whatever a gun nut may feel is a restriction is not an option for the so called law abiding, responsible gun owner.Or, IOW, confiscate them.

Oh, boohoo. Cry us a river all you want about Leticia James. The government frequently, legally does exactly what you describe.Any requirement that someone divest themselves of their lawfully acquired property at the command of the government is confiscation.
If I sell a piece of land because I don’t want to pay property taxes on it, is that “confiscation”?Any requirement that someone divest themselves of their lawfully acquired property at the command of the government is confiscation.

Guise........this is cereal. It was suggested today that "you have enough flashlights"
I opened "then YOU have enough purses and shoes"

I was expecting you to bring up eminent domain and you did. Now explain, as we are on this particular thread, how eminent domain is as you described and defined as a confiscation that allows for a 2nd amendment remedy to that government tyranny. And also, the government does not in fact have to pay legal value for property. I’m no lawyer. I’m just like everyone else here who enjoys kicking your ass by saying that I can simply look at Native Americans and black communities to find numerous instances of this not to be true outside of me giving you the exact legal definition. So no. When and if the trump bump stock ruling is adjudicated and upheld - you won’t be getting reimbursed for buying something now illegal.Did the land become "illegal" to own or possess? If not it's not confiscation. If yes, then it is confiscation. Or, in the case of real property, eminent domain. Which is also confiscation by the government.
See how easy that is? Or do you need to redefine more words to make it fit your preconceived narrative that the government taking private property, or forcing someone to dispossess themselves of their property, doesn't violate anyone's 5th Amendment Rights?
The ONLY way the government can force people to give up their guns is by paying them the legal value for that property. There are an estimated 400 million guns in the US. If each one is worth $500 in value, the US government doesn't have enough money, and can't print enough money, to seize them without it being an unlawful taking.
So, my best advice for those who are spreading the "outlaw guns" message, you don't have a snowball's chance in Hell of making it work.
I learn something new about you every week, because you are a non-stop and obsessive poster. This erotic literature forum is the major focus of your mostly virtual social life.It is truly sad that there is a substantial portion of the population who cares vastly more about their opinions than about learning anything new.
You brush off your irresponsible behavior by associating femininity with weakness. Most women I know have far more strength of character than you have.I suspect that some of our thread denizens need to upgrade their purses-n-shoes.
I posted a recipe for you.![]()

What you have done is post encouragement to shoot liberals on a social media platform that has all sorts of readers and lurkers. That is irresponsible. You're just another example of an irresponsible gun nut.
