Well, the article doesn't give the details of the questions. But it does hit on a salient point. I, and virtually everyone I know, would not participate in such a poll and if cornered would lie about ownership. The distrust of the media and government has really reached that level.
Me? I would like to see the laws that are on the books concerning the use of firearms in the commission of a crime enforced. That would be a good start. If I could figure out a way to keep firearms out of the hands of the mentally ill that wouldn't be abused by the government, I would support such laws.

Hitler formed the National Socialist party but he was a Nationalist not a Socialist. It was just a word for appearance's sake. He hated anything socialist.

It's disappointing that Americans are so poorly educated that they think that Hitler was remotely Socialist. It's depressing that this has to be repeated continually, else it becomes accepted fact in true Goebbels fashion.

I was explaining the basic difference between Nazism and Fascism it is what I said it was. The Nazi system embraced Aryanism (the racial superiority of one race over others) it wasn't just the Jewish population they felt superior to but the Nazis divided the European population into five subtypes. Nordic, Mediterranean, Dinaric, Alpine, and East Baltic. The Nordic group considered superior to the other sub-groups mentioned. They hated the Slavic people and identified them as "subhuman." They didn't consider the Jews to be a subtype of the European people. The Aryan Herrenvolk ("master race") was embraced by Hitler from the very beginning. Hitler wrote Mein Kampf in 1925-1926 in which he explained his anti-Semitism in Volume 1 Chapter 11: Nation and Race.
So once again we find you completely full of shit with no reading or scholarly skills of your own. You'd be better off just shutting the fuck up on subjects of history.
