Here´s my opinion:


I don´t understand the interracial category. I´ve written ínterracial´stories before, but I put them in the category they belonged in; mature, first times, etc...I don´t read interracial stories because érotic coupling´stories aren´t my thing...i go to the category that i know I´m going to get off on, and if the couple is interracial, i could give less of a shit. The idea of two people fucking is fine to me, the idea of two people having different skin colors fucking doesn´t change anything, imho.

BUT

To me, the interracial category seems racist. but to others it might not. so, for them, i don´t think it´s a bad idea to keep it there. I like nonconsent, and I know a lot of people think that that´s sick. To each their own.

So far I haven't dated half the nationalities that Svenska have, but I've covered a few.
Swedish, English, Albanian, Ghanian, Polish, South African, Nigerian, Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, and American. Then one boyfriend was part Irish/Cherokee/Scottish/English/American.

On the other hand, these are just nationalities, doesn't neccessarily mean they're dark or light...

I was reading through trying to figure out what I should respond to given the vast number of twists to this issue.

Interracial seems fine to me as a category, because it is a commonly used category on a lot of sites. People interested in that category can easily find what interest them.

Pops, I think it would be really cool if you wrote for that category of the type white man/ black or other race of woman. I heard a few of the white men I know personally talk about wanting to be with a black woman, but I haven't had one to tell of his experience. I wouldn't know the mindset to attempt it myself. Write one, and maybe I can get some ideas from a white males perspective.

If there is enough good stories, then maybe it will become as popular as the incest category. I'm going to try one myself.

Hm, this will sound pathetic, but I've only been with one Swede. And we've only done it a couple of times. I'm seriously starting to wonder what it'd be like to have a Swedish boyfriend, all my men have been form other countries. My bed language is English!

Always fun to be of help! Hopefully you won't write in Spanish, my Spanish is still very touristy (Un cerveze por favour). German I can deal with, French I don't understand at all. Serious though, all my bed language IS in English. That's what you get from only sleeping with foreign men. For some reason "Fuck me hard" just doesn't do it for me in Swedish "Knulla mig hart". I feel like some 70s porn when using the Swedish equivalents...

I am seriously considering it BS mate, a white guy/black lady story, I have thought about it before, but it would be fact based, it would have to be, like you mate I couldn't make it up from anything but memory, until we got friends with this particular couple I knew nothing of other cultures habits and preferences for certain.

I'd also hate to give the impression of the old white master dominating the black girl thing, it wasn't like that at all, it was just for fun and a meeting of equals. I didn't use Minnie, she used me the cheeky tart, hehe!! Could take it down those lines I suppose, but then it might make it demeaning to both of us.

I don't read Interracial, largely because I wasn't brought up in the right part of the USA or in the right decade for such relations to seem taboo. The idea of sleeping with someone whose ancestors happened to develop DNA codes 0.00001% different from mine doesn't call up a lot of forbidden jollies for me, let's say.

However, as an artist, I love the variety of human faces and bodies. We are all members of the same species, and yet we can take on so many different forms and shades. (Not to the extent of the canines, but you get my drift.) You can learn to paint "skin tones" or draw facial proportions, as you believe, and then turn around and address a whole different set of challenges working with someone of a different complexion or bone structure.

In the middle of the twentieth century, it wasn't so incorrect to talk about measurably different visible averages between races: the wide cheekbones of the Central Asian, the long body of the Nilotic, the steatopygial prominence of the African, the high-arched nose of the Semite, the hirsuteness of the European, the paleness of the Scandinavian. I love those details of our diversity--I revel in them. Every person who has ever lived has had a face unique to himself, even if he tends to resemble his brothers rather more than he does his cousins.

I find this an interesting post... MY only story is posted in the interracial section because it was written for someone very special . The fact that he is black and I am white has nothing to do with the love we share, but the circumstances under which we are joined... it is not the jungle fever version, but the romance an loving side... also...other ethnic groups are represented in the interracial stories and quite well I might add... the erotic, exotic appeal... some people prefer opposites of their backgrounds and heritages....

Interestingly, speaking of DNA, I've just read that; due to the bottleneck for the hastening 'out of Africa' migrants those thousands of years ago we, of 'the rest of the world' have a family heritage numbered in the 100 thousands. Which indicates that the gene pool of tribal Africans today, is in fact greater and more diverse than in the rest of the world combined.

Hi all, new to the site. Hope you don't mind my 2 centos.

Interracial is one of the categories I look into. Like many people have stated, there is an abundance of the crap 'violent black primate takes prissy white princess' story that is told over and over. The story's overt racism doesn't anger me or upset me, I just get terribly bored.

Honestly, I can see where some people get off on the Interracial bit, and I can also see where others don't. I grew up in the deep south (most people where I grew up think of Kentucy and Virginia as northern states), but I have also lived in England and California for chunks of time.

Why might there be an appeal for such stories in the US?

In the US there is a larger cultural difference and tension between racial groups (An indicator of this can be seen by the appropriation of the subject by black comedians) than in Europe. Also, in the rural south and in urban areas across the nation the percentage of blacks is much higher than in the UK and across Europe.

Blacks and whites tend to live in seperate neighborhoods, especially in urban areas. Whites tend to benefit from more resources (better schools, better chance for upward mobility), mostly going back to the fact whites generally control more wealth (all this can be understood considering that until the civil rights movements of 30-40 years ago blacks weren't allowed to integrate into mainstream America -- which makes them, for all practical purposes, a still new immigrant group).

Staying on the immigration subject, each immigrant group -Irish, Italian, German, etc.- after the first has encountered hostility and resistance from the previous groups. It generally takes a generation or two before an immigrant community is fully integrated. I fully believe that by the end of our lives (or our children's as the case may be), it will have happened.

So ANYWAY (long-winded, eh?), that's a simple-put-forth guesstimated explanation of the tension in the US.

I recently put forth two stories (my virgin-like firsts), one interracial, though I debated as to whether or not it belonged there or in erotic couplings. I'm more than willing to defend it (though in a few days I'll be on the road and indefinately internet-less). The setting is in the deep south, based on my own uni. If I'd set it in England, I probably would have put it in erotic couplings, because the characters would act differently - there would be no racial tension.

Okay, that was four centos. But my point is that racial tensions do exist, and they can be use as an obstacle for characters in a story (even if you are completely against racism). The same racial tensions were not obvious to me in England, where I dated a black girl for a short time and it was no big deal to me or anyone else. If we'd fallen in love and gotten married, I have relatives back in the south (mostly the older ones) who would've wigged out.

I hope I made myself clear (I think, for me, it's about the obstacle), but if I didn't then you can just tell me I'm full of horse-shit, I don't mind.

Partially, and also what color you are.

A racist culture is more likely to be racist towards those it has subjugated in the past. Sounds like a simple statement, but one that no one really thinks about. Black/White is a hot topic in the US because of the history. The British never went in for the enslaving of blacks, so black/white isn't such a big thing for us.

Indian/Asian/Oriental on the other hand, that's a different matter....

Remember, the sun never set on British Empire.. And I'll tell you this lads, we still have to watch out for those damn darkies throwing their bloody spears.
