As an American, I am very curious to hear oppinions from around the world on the current situation in the Middle East.

I feel that Americans are divided as to weather or not they support the war. There have been rally's and people standing on high way over passes waving flags for peace and to support our troops in war.

Thank you for your imput ahead of time!!!

While I would rather not have to go to war I feel that it is a necessary evil. I support our troops 100% and am even trying to get some things sent to them. I just hope they are all able to return to their families unharmed....as well as the Iraqi and Kuwaiti citizens.

Ange1icflowers that you for your post. I appreciate your opinions.

Emerald-Eyed...am i to take from your comment that because there are other threads that mine holds no value and I shouldn't have posted it?

I am hoping to gain an idea of what lit members from other countries feel. I have looked and not particularly seem anything quite to this degree of question.

Thank you!

i think it's a very sad day to be an american
going totally against international law,
world opinion, and the will of the united nations
makes the monkey in the White House
as much of a criminal as saddam
bush's bottom line has nothing to do with
weapons of mass destruction

Listen to Shortwave News stations.

Radio Shack sells at least three different, inexpensive "World Band Radios" ranging from $20 to $200.

Scanning the Shortwave bands and a bit of patience will get you English language broadcasts from Germany, The Netherlands, The BBC, Radio Moscow, Australia, Radio Beijing, several South American countries, and probably a dozen others I haven't found yet.

I haven't found any English language Arbic stations yet, but I'm sure they're out there.

Many of the stations also have online versions you can listen to while posting at Lit, although I haven't bothered to copy the URLs down.
