Wanted In More Ways Than One (Closed for raiguy)

Tay smiled, before sighing and rolling his shoulders. "We will just have to handle this situation, and then I might end up getting out of the force. We will see what happens once everything is cleared up though," he said, strolling along with her.

Tay shrugged. "I don't really need to work. Mom and dad got really lucky with some investments, and the smaller lotto they hit really helped. Being an only child meant that they decided to actually split the lotto with me, as it somehow reduced the taxes they paid on it. I also got lucky with investments while in the academy, and decided to have a job anyways, otherwise I'd be puttering around here every day," he said, slightly embarrassed at his finances.

Gwyn blinked for a few minutes. "You actually have. . . well, money?" she asked softly, feeling kind of down a little now.

Tay nodded sheepishly, before looking at Gwyn. "What's wrong?" he asked, pulling her into a hug.

"You know me, I don't want to be a freeloader. I mean, it's nice to be spoiled a bit and all, but," Gwyn nuzzled into Tay's hug. "You know what I'm trying to say," she added in a mumble into his shoulder.

Tay nodded, before looking at her. "I don't have to worry about it, and you aren't a freeloader. The other thing you have to remember. Are you here because of my money?" he asked her seriously.

Tay smiled. "Exactly. So never worry about the money. It just means that we never have to worry about kids, their futures, or what to do if we need to get away," he said with another smile, kissing Gwyn softly, trying to reassure her.

Tay stretched one last time, before looking at the pups and turning around. "Okay, time to head back. We have to get mommy into bed, otherwise she'll be worn out and won't want to watch movies with you two!" he said with a smile, watching the pups jump around.

Tay started to walk, keeping pace with what Gwyn and Nash were doing, happy that Cub didn't seem to mind. She just bumped against him every now and them, a low throaty growl in his throat. The first time he heard it, he thought she was upset, but as he learned, she actually almost sounded like a cat, using that growl when she was happy.

Gwyn laughed as she walked along with the pups and Tay, smiling at Nash's playfulness. She called him to her and he ran up eagerly to try to lick her face before running off again, toward the house.

Tay just watched him. "You're going to have to retrain him, otherwise you'll be dealing with that nonstop," he said with a chuckle, before looking at Gwyn, and then stealing a deep kiss from her.

Gwyn sighed softly as he kissed her deeply, and she smiled. "I will. Yay for positive reinforcement," she joked softly.

Tay just shook his head. "Don't go making that dog into a 100 pound dog now....Otherwise the exercise to get him back to a healthy weight will be on you," he said with an evil grin.

"Huskies are naturally big dogs," Gwyn said defensively. "And I won't. Positive reinforcement doesn't necessarily mean just treats."

Tay nodded, before smiling widely. "You know I was just teasing you, right? I know how big Nash should get. I saw his parents....they were big dogs," he said, kissing Gwyn's neck softly.

Gwyn squealed and giggled as he kissed her neck. "Teasing is not nice," she informed him playfully, her eyes bright with happiness.

Tay shrugged, before doing it again, pulling her into a tight hug, but careful to not hit any of her injuries, as he changed the kiss to nibbles along her neck.

Tay smiled as he pulled away, before looking at her. "What shall we do tonight?" he asked, opening the door to let the pups, and then her in.

"Hmm, not sure," Gwyn said, stepping into the house with the pups. She picked up Nash and cuddled him as she thought about it.
