Wanted In More Ways Than One (Closed for raiguy)

Tay smiled and nodded. "I stayed up to make sure you slept alright, but then I fell asleep as well. I woke up a couple minutes before you did, but I slept very well," he said, leaning around and kissing her on the nose.

Tay smiled and nodded. "We also need to check and see how everything looks, and see if we need to get you on antibiotics," he said, sliding off the bed and to his feet.

Tay smiled slightly. "Relax and let me do that from now on then?" he said, raising an eyebrow before looking over her bandages, happy to see that there was minimal blood loss. He changed what bandages needed to be changed, before turning to her. "There, now then, sit up and lets get some food in you," he said, thinking about what to make her.

Tay nodded, before looking. "I still like you in my shirts though, so the pajamas might be a moot point?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

Tay just shook his head, before stretching. "I'm glad you like them. Just don't go stealing all my clothes," he said with a chuckle.

Tay just shook his head before turning to head to the kitchen. He hadn't changed, falling asleep in his clothes, but quickly whipped up some soup, a light salad, and some bread for lunch.

Once the food was ready, Tay made a tray, before heading back to his bedroom, wondering if it had become their bedroom. He shook his head, before remembering that Gwyn had left, even when he had told her just how much he loved her.

Gwyn saw Tay come in with food, and she smiled, wondering if this would become the norm.

He'd never take her back, though.

She smiled, though her lower lip wobbled.

Tay immediately noticed her lip wobble. He had become attuned to her, like he had before she left. It had amazed him at just how quickly he had reverted back to what they were, but then he shrugged it off as to being in love with her.

"What's wrong, sugar bear?" he asked, setting the food down, before climbing onto the bed next to Gwyn and sitting as close as was comfortable for the two of them.

Gwyn shrugged unable to describe how she was feeling in words. She rested her head on his shoulder, but remained slightly apart. She wondered if they were still in tune with each other.

Tay looked down at Gwyn. "Something is bothering you. What's up?" he asked, before starting to feed her, teasing her like he used to.

Gwyn smiled and snagged the food he was teasing her with. "Just wishing I wasn't so stupid, all those years ago."

Tay looked at her, unsure of what she meant, as he slowly ate as well. "Meaning?" he asked, wanting to know for sure, instead of the inkling suspicion he had.

Tay just nodded as he ate. He wasn't sure what to say, but felt like Gwyn had more to say than what she was letting on.

"It was a dumb reason though," she retorted. "So stupid and. . . Cowardly. The only reason I left was because I was a scared little cunt."

Tay just shook his head. "What were you scared of? I had a ring all picked out, had the blessing of both sets of parents, and knew what we would be trying to do. What scared you?" he asked her.

"I don't fucking know anymore," Gwyn whispered. "I guess myself." She shrugged and began to cry. She still remembered running away in terror after hexconfessed his love to her, and her telling him it was over. It still hurt. "See?" No good reason."

Tay climbed off the bed slowly, putting his head in his hands. He had always thought it had been something about him. Now, to hear it like this, it made him question their relationship, and if something could ever work.
