Paris Dakar is cool as a concept, but rally hardly contain my interest for weeks.

I used to like F1 in the 80's when there were competition and rivalry, but not it's as boring as watching a guy wank.

I enjoy moter bike racing now. Lot more over taking. GP as well as Superbikes.

The coverage is poor, but I watch anyway - mostly for the bikes. One of these days I want to take one of my bikes and go on one of the tours that goes along with the race - sometimes even on the same course that they race on. That would be a cool way to tour Africa.

...just wait till Nicky Hayden is his teammate this year--team orders could get interesting! Then add Colin Edwards and Troy Bayliss to the mix--it's just too bad the season doesn't start till April. Guess I'll have to content myself with watching the AMA series till then....

....I love to hear the GP announcers get all hot and bothered during the race--those proper British accents screaming, "Ahhhhhhhh-bay!! It's Ahhhh-bay with a prang up his backside in turn 10!!". ~LOL~
Come to think of it, Nicky Hayden's prang gets me all hot and bothered, too....go figure.

The Dakar rally is great to watch I just wish they would show more of it.

One of the reasons I pick up Sport Compact Car magazine a lot is that they have good World Rally Coverage. They have a great article this month about the Engineering firm that builds and refurbishes the Subaru WRX rally cars.
