My personal definition of fluff is any thread over 300 posts. Once in a while you'll get a big fight thread or a serious topic thread that goes over 300 here, but it's very rare.

Out of 40 threads on the first page, 23 are over 300 posts and about 15 are into the thousands.

They oughta start a pillow factory over there.
 
Every body who posts on Lit has their own reason for posting. Some like fluff. Some like arguments. Some like heated debate. Some just like to get on and fuck around. How people use this board is up to them.

Just because one person doesn't like "fluff," doesn't make it a such terrible thing, in the same vein, just because another person enjoys debate while someone else doesn't particularly care for it, doesn't make one right or one wrong. It's all a matter of personal preference on how one enjoys his or her online time.

It is pretty slow here. I was going to go over there and stir things up, then I started feeling nauseous.

I think I'll do laundry now.
