I was speaking with someone from the internet recently on the phone... originally he thought I'd have a higher-pitched, girlgirl voice, and he was surprised with what he heard... This is how he put it..

I didn't expect a voice that said "please fuck me NOW" with every sentence...

I have a low, breathy, velvety voice, which I'd never noticed until recently, when I received a few compliments...

What does your voice sound like, and what do you think it communicates, beyond the words that you utter?

I can't say with any real accuracy what my own voice sounds like (except that when I hear recordings of myself, it sounds more nasal than I like).

What I've heard a few times are things like "you have a devious laugh", and 'Your voice goes straight to the back of my brain and makes me want to act even before I think".

I don't think that either of those are what folks might expect from me.

I don't think either of those are bad at all. :)

my thoughts

You may meet a fine guy on the net and talk to him. lol and his voice sounds like a girls.. what a turn off

People have told me that I sound like Wynona Ryder. I don't think so, but more than one person has told me that.

Just yesterday I was told that my voice "tells stories".....or something like that. I have a very feminine voice......soft. But it changes with each emotion I experience during a conversation.........

bluemuse

I hate my voice. I constantly sound like I'm going to laugh my ass off at any moment.

To me it sounds like a teenagers voice (Which I still am). Only the teenagers on speed. And she's happy about it. :D

I know all these big words, but I never really use them. So when I do say them they usually come out just like they're spelled. That's sort of strange.

I think my voice says that I don't take life too seriously, and I don't try very hard.

:D

I kinda pick up jazzmans words...
I can't tell anything about my voice...

What i know is when I'm speaking in foreign languages I have different voices. So my russian voice differs from my spanish or italian.
I'll have to ask somebody about the effects.

Rex :rose:

I don't know. I just hope it's not too annoying. I hope I have a sex pot voice.

Crap and yuck.

Ha.

Only recently.

Heh, kidding.

I love voices. Everything about them. People are usually surprised when they hear me as well....surprised that I'm a woman, that is.

I have to agree with you about the foreign languages thing..when I speak French, my voice gets a little higher, and clearer.. less ... velvety, I suppose..

are you trying to sound like a french girl ?

trying to have no accent is what i am doing...
but most of the times something gave it away I'm just a german.

Rex :rose:

I grew up with no accent (except apparently you Americans think I say ABOOT)... but I do speak French. :)

hey wait a minute - now I'm confused
Victoria BC ?
you sound like french from Quebec ?
with no accent ?
now I'm confused

as far as I've heard the canadian french is totally different from the french french - lol

Rex :rose:

I live in Victoria, BC. I learned Parisian French in high school. I speak it, but it's not my first language.

I have a deeper voice with an underlying purr. Storm kids me about having a phone sex voice a lot. There have been two people from here who have heard the voice and I don't think it disappointed in any way. I know the last one really enjoyed it

I've been told quite often that I have a phone sex voice... I really enjoy the activity, and I've a creative mind, so I suppose I'm good at it. :) I like that when some people hear my voice (say, in the job interview I was in last Friday), they instantly get turned on (the male interviewer -there was one male and one female- visibly was turned on)... however, I haven't yet heard about the job.

dammit.

My voice can sound very much like a young girl.

I find it rather annoying. It sounds far different in person.

Then, there are times when it takes on that husky quality to exudes sexuality.

Like I am an angry fucker.

Unless you catch me stoned and in that case I sound like one of the dudes from "half baked"
