Visual art query

Hi folks. I haven't been on here for a good long while and, on returning, have only just noticed this "visual artists" forum.

I wonder - could anyone tell me whether any of the talented artists visiting here might sometimes be open to doing a one-off line drawing to match a story idea? During my absence I've come up with one or two thoughts for erotic scenes and I'd be tickled pink to see a visual interpretation. Even just the one would be absolutely fine and it would be strictly for "private consumption" - there's no commercial motive whatsoever.

I'm guessing that this is unlikely but, if you don't ask, you don't get, as they say! Very happy to discuss this by PM or private email.

Many "authors" post art work - this forum isn't the only place you find art.

You need to find Authors who post art on their story page (as I do, for example) - Feedback is then available if you click into that author's profile.

Thanks greatly for that. I had been completely unaware that some authors here do their own illustrations. I'll do as you suggest but will first scan through this forum and make approaches to the artists who have actually posted their work on here.

Precisely the kind of thing I've mused over many a time. People with the kind of talent (sometimes) shown here probably don't realise how lucky they are. I'd give my eye teeth to be able to finish some of the short pieces I do with a small illustration. Hey ho...

This forum is only a fraction of the art being posted on Lit - there are good artists here, but many, many more out there in "story" land.

Wow! It's very bold. I'm not ready to draw porn scenes yet; for now, I need to practice something less vulgar and distracting. All ideas for drawing I find on partnersinfire.com/. This helps me focus on the main thing: honing my skills and not racking my brain for hours on what to draw. Thus, I find various interesting ideas on this site that help me develop in all directions. Maybe I will soon move on to the porn scene. It would be interesting to try.

Yes, I've taken a look at Etsy in my frustration with non-respondent artists on here.

I'm afraid your "ton" appears to amount to about 3 (after looking through over ten pages of Etsy results for "erotic art") who have googlable email addresses or contact forms. Most of them hide behind Etsy or go out of their way not to be contactable.
