It sure did. We got 6" + of snow down here in SW Virginia. Lots of fun

I didn't think there was that much snow this past wknd. Actually, was amazed that they had the schools delayed for 2 hrs yest. the rds were actually scraped by the end of sunday...a miracle in itself. lol

Well, the snow amounts varied quite a bit in the area. Here they got 6" but up north and east of us only 4 or so. VDOT did do a good job of the roads around here this time. Either way, it was a good chance to cuddle up with someone and keep warm!

No snow here. Needless to say my seven year old was very "bummed."

I on the other hand, am glad it stayed away. I have just too much to do this week.

Oh yeah, my cat did have a blast on confiscating my lap (the only thing here that I have to cuddle w/) . lol. For a cat,she's quite possessive and spoilt (I'm still trying to find the person guilty for doing that to her...hehe ((looks innocent)) )

Nope, not the best 2 months away. Tons of work and very little play. But I'm sure I can make up for it some time in the future.

was born and raised here, so love it. We have a great state...it has something for everyone. We have the mtns...but we also have the beaches and lakes. We have summer sunshine and we have winter snows....skiing, boating, history, fishing, etc. its a pretty good state overall.

Yep, I agree. It's better than most places I've visited or lived for a short time period.

Richmond area guy here, 34 years old, stumbled upon this thread this morning. Glad to see there are Virginia people participating. I've been hearing crickets for so long. Are there any central or southern Virginia women looking to chat or for real time?

It is a nice area down this way. I keep planning to go to Blacksburg to take some cont. ed. It's just not worked out yet. When you were there, did you ever get to Roanoke to the star?? That has an awsome view. I need to try and make plans to do that soon also. lol. Tho, the drive up 581 can also be pretty.

i am 35. i live in hampton roads. i am 5'9", 200 pounds, blond/brown hair, blue eyes, and a musclular build. i enjoy all sports (plaing) and i make furniture in my spare time. i am very good with my hands. anything else you want to know?
