Hello fellow virginians. I'm 30 and happily married.
I live in Appomattox. It is nice to see we are not alone here.

Hi Cindy, welcome to the Virginia Thread. I have been to Appromattox a couple of times. It is a beautiful area. I usually camp in the campground between Appromattox and Lynchburg.

well.... if you were Emeril, you'd probably make a bed for it...maybe fruit slices or a pastry like setting, and then would add fruit purees around the plate edge for garnish, as well as some shaved chocolate on top.

Hmmm...first of all, Emeril Lagasse is the anti-Christ from my POV--now, if you had suggested something inspired by Jacques Pepin, I'd be much more impressed

Second, I'm sure that left to my own devices, I could think of a more creative presentation than just laying out food on a plate!

Classes are going well. I still feel like I'm trying to dance w/ someone else's body tho. (mine just wont listen to me....LOL)

I do think you would enjoy them, if you started. they on the fun side.

CRAZY busy, leading to an involuntary absence from Lit (not just this thread) for over a week--but maybe things are at a manageable level of chaos now!

What's your latest venture, then?

Let's see, I still have dance class on Mondays, I have started taking classes every other Thurs w/ a local coven, and we have study hall on the 1st/3rd Tues, work, AND I've been trying to organize the the local CMT's into a sort of impromptu association. Have plans of doing similar w/ the Reiki practitioners (and to eventually put out a directory of the practitioners so that folks in town will have a list of who we are and definition of what we do). Where we meet once every other month and discuss things, etc. Then life in general.

Ya know, it may be a good thing that I am not married w/ kids, when would I have time for them??

LOL. Funny you should say that, bashfull. My teacher is planning a show in November, I believe the 1st wknd. She wants (but more than likely wont get) all her students to dance and demo what they have learnt. So, you coming to Roanoke??
