Suggestion--based on an abortive (no pun intended) attempt to organize something like this last year (see the 'Jack 'n' Jill Party in VA thread), some basic criteria that may improve the chances of getting folks to show up:

1) Someplace near a Metro stop
2) Someplace with adequate parking on the date in question
3) Someplace with a layout to accommodate a relatively large
party in a discrete part of the dining room

Time for me to break out my Zagat's guide, unless anyone has a quick response?

Let's see, I usu. go up 581 and cut across I-64, I think. so that might be another alternative location aspect (tho, I could probably find it anywhere if I'm able to come. )

I think the plan is to thaw my toes and then use them to warm up my ears.

Angel, I find coming from Roanoke area, best is 81 to 66...forget 64..that means you then need to do 29 or go all the way to Richmond to hit 95.
