I'm a 30ish native Virginian that just moved back after many years.

I have always loved the area so moving back has been wonderful so far.

I can't say the same about VA. I grew up here; left for 10 years; returned; and I am thinking about defecting again. However, if I was to stay here I would live in the District--The District, is the closest I can get to the lifestyle and vibe, that I had when I lived in NYC and SF.

However, I am finding some salacious diversions here that keep me, somewhat, content for now.

So look at it as a diverse environment for you to seek out the nooks in it to find the pleasures hidden away. The secret pleasures to entice and tease.....bringing forth the hidden joys just waiting for you.
