What an exciting day... Snowed in, experiencing cabin fever, have a pile of wet socks, and my aunt gave birth to a baby boy! Ambulance had to walk to their house to get her, was very exciting. Both mother and child are doing well. A little sunshine in an otherwise dark month for me. *sigh*

It's called trying to pry up the ice under the snow, and using a cheap-ass shovel that I bought at Home Depot during the last snowstorm (being the last one in the store)--so it was not a major feat!

I shoveled my driveway 4 times--and I think that now, it's finally going to stay snow-free...just waiting for the rain now...

DC does have a lot to offer to keep one busy. When in college friends from there would often mention things that happen in George town..... the museums..... concerts.....ect. So, have fun, behave and visit more often.
