Hello everyone.
I am living in a small city, that has a University, and the state took the name from it. Thomas Jefferson would be proud that the state of VirginiA liked the name of his school so much (UVA).

I am 36 y.o. male, going through a seperation, and looking to meet people around town (C'ville), near The Corner.

I just spent the last 2, or is that 3, hours reading the post on this thread. When do you get up in the morning? I see that you posted a reply already, so did you happen to stay up all night?

My memmory goes on me, and with only a nap in the past 24 hours, it may be gone. Lets see if it is still working. U are in Rocksville, MD., and giving Nic lessons in the Oral Arts. Do you think you could handle another student. I must warn you, I have a sharp tounge at times, could you handle a tounge lashing?

Hi Friends,

Well, things are busy for me, don't get to post much and don't usually, unless...(someone does something really assinine like tells their wife they are having cybersex with me) but wanted to welcome all the new faces to the thread with hugs!

Princess, anytime you need time off and want a substitute to fill in for you, I am sure I could fit Nic - etal. into my schedule. Would be willing to *help* grade performance, quality, taste, technique, etc...

So, I'm still in the coffee business, for any takers who love coffee or just the adventure, always willing to share a latte or two with real time conversation...

I'm a willing, and experienced, teacher with no pupils. I have a complete curriculum, lots of fascinating lessons, plenty of time, and a willingness to work quite inexpensively.

My only condition is that I work with only ONE student, and that one student has only one teacher!

It should be the goal of any true academian to learn from as many worthy teachers as possible. It seems my quandry is an over abundance of more than capable teachers. What is a humble student to do. My oral abilities might be stretched to there limits.....but what better way to test my limits.

P4U . . . I am glad to know that you are devoted to providing a proper education, and that means one-on-one instructions
Bubbley, I am glad to hear that you are a teacher in need of a student, as I am a student in need of a teacher.
Nic, I agree, to be properly educated, you need to learn differant styles, technics (so much for my spelling), and that usally means 2 or more teachers in the same area(s), such as DC metro, and/or orals.
Sorry Sir Alex, in a 3-some, or more-some, with the right persons, I may consider learning something, but, well . . .
I hear that there is this fine place in DC, that had Nixion breathing hard about. It is called Oralgate, I mean, Watergate, School - um Hotel. We could all meet in a large classroom an compare notes, subjects, etc

Nic - A lot of these appear to be one-time post, and I haven't weeded them out. For example, Deb on page 4, is an Unregistered Guest
Sir Alex - Way to much time Wife is in Richmond, I am here in C'ville, she wants a divorce, and I've got the rest of my house of cards falling down on me Also, I work retail where the store is open 24 hrs day/ 365 days yr. I was moved to the night shift for two weeks (10pm - 6:30am), but I am being switched back to afternoons/evenings (1:30pm - 10pm) today, so I don't know if I am coming or going, or if I am even awake as I type this.
All (Nic, Sir Alex, Princess4U) - I have taken the info right off the pages, if in page one, when you where trying to get this thread started, you may of stated that you where attached - unhappily so, or agreed to the comment. Yep, there is a lot being said, I am just going thru it, and trying to get the most important stuff, so we have an ice breaker, if you will
As you can see, sleep hasn't come easy to me yesterday, or today.
I will update this as I go along, but I seem to be loosing the formating of the page - I may have to import it into a database. May be a good idea, could sort on name, and create a second list based on location.

Directory Update

Hello again, it's me, the one with too much time on his hands.
LtgR, Nic, Sir Alex, P4U - up to 69 user names, with quite a few one-timers, on this thread alone. I have converted it to a MS Works database from the text file I was using. Now, to export it. Who wants what - tab, comma, or some other file format? I can even e-mail the original DB file if you request.
LTGR - I will do a search for more VA threads, but one thing at a time.
P4U - Other than having one student that you are teaching in the oral arts I will have to go back and read some more. Sorry about my mistake that you where in Rockville, that was Eroticus.
Sir Alex - I have converted to a database, and have updated your info with the working get-a-way info
Nic - just a little longer. You may want to look at what LTGR posted not to long ago, he got it from the Brits. I will use info like that, and I guess I could click on the profile link if I wanted to.

NoVa/DC Metro - 27 people list NoVa/DC/MD as home (as far west as Centerville, as far south as Stafford, as for north as MD)

Cental VA - 15 people, from south to Lynchburg, north to Fredricksburg, somewhere in Richmond, and as for west as the Shennandoah Vally

Tidewater/Hampton Roads - 8 people, including Norfolk, Newport New, and Virgina Beach

Southwest VA - 5, mainly Roanoke

Other places, you are not forgotten, just that you may have only one or two users in the area that stated they live in the area, and not an easy way of naming the location, such as Winchester or Blacksburg.

More info to follow, but not everyone states if they are male or female, or other info for that matter.
