heheheh well considering it was almost a hundred years later that we gained our independance i'd have to say no, and yes you do.ccnyman said:Good morning, Vinde. Should we continue arguing about whether without this day there would be a Canada Day? (I actually need to read up on Canadian history though).

ah i see what you are saying. By that time they were tired of losing and figured it was better to cut their losses. Although technically we were still tied to them until 1982.ccnyman said:Yes, but by that time the British were accustomed to losing colonies (sorry, BD, if you should happen to read this).

*start singing*
Night-time sharpens,
heightens each sensation . . .
Darkness stirs and
wakes imagination . . .
Silently the senses
abandon their defences . . .
Slowly, gently
night unfurls its splendour . . .
Grasp it, sense it -
tremulous and tender . . .
Turn your face away
from the garish light of day,
turn your thoughts away
from cold, unfeeling light -
and listen to
the music of the night . . .
Thanks stud, you too.txnstud said:morning beautiful. have a great one
