I wonder quite how you're doing it. This could resolve the problem. If you orgasm when using the vibrator and you use it exclusively externally (to stimulate your clitoris) then you may simply have become "used" to that way of climaxing. If you use the vibrator internally as well during your solo efforts it may be you just need to keep at it.
