Yeppers, just write the stuff on little pieces of paper and stuff them in the little slot on the front of the puter. Saves money on the disks.

I haven't taken the camera out of the car yet but I had an interesting day. Usually I enjoy driving quickly over the mountain curves between here and my daughter in Tennessee. This morning I was in no hurry and took a different route home. I missed a turn and suddenly I had no clue where I was. Turn around! Never. I just kept driving in the direction of home and finally came to a noticable road. It went over the mountains too, but mostly thru the gaps. I was on the Trail of Tears; the route used by the Cherokee Indians on the beginning of the trec to Oklahoma(1838) from their mountain home in Georgia. Some of my thoughts were on how tragic that was, a very large number died on the forced winter march. The first gold rush happened here in Georgia and the Indians were in the way. I also thought of the damage in Greece and how different Georgia would look without our forests.The road doesn't really go to any major towns so it was empty for the most part. I put the speed control on and just let the curves unwind. Mile after mile of either old growth hardwoods or one of Georgia's renewal resources; pine trees. Mile after mile. Some mature, some young, and vast areas where they had been cut. Mostly the trees covered the roadway. With the top down it was very calm for over 100 miles. Close to home I came out of the mountains and put the top up against the heat of the Georgia afternoon. I hope you get a visual picture from my travel log.
