The Traveling Memorial Wall

These aren't vacation pics George , but pics from the Traveling war memorial wall .Its been in town for the past few days , thought you might like to see them . Obviously nothing compares the real one , but still an inspirational and memorable visit . They bring it into town in a beautiful black tractor / trailer ,with murals , followed by nearly a thousand bikes , cars and trucks , all carrying American and POW flags ... its quite a site to see ...

Thanks Chainzz, I think your pics are a good addition here. It took three trips to DC before I could cross the street from the Lincoln Memorial to walk down to The Wall.....it was just too moving......

It stands in stark contrast to every other monument in that area. A tribute in stark black granite surrounded by shiney white marble and stone work every place else.

Wellllll ... ok then ... the truth be told, the panties are nice ... but I was sorta entranced by what's underneath them!

Hellllll ... something like that might even make it worthwhile spending the winter in a northern frozen wasteland.



Course it'd be better off in a tropical paradise down here!
