I remember that only three things of any importance at all got done:

1. Appointment of RW federal judges. Federalist Society types.

2. A massive tax cut for the rich.

3. Creation of a military Space Force.

And that's all. End of list. The Wall wasn't built, nothing was done for crumbling infrastructure, etc.

1. was regrettable by any reasonable measure. The nation will be dealing with the damage for decades.

We REALLY didn't need the tax cut. That took the country in exactly the wrong direction.

I like the Space Force on Rule of Cool grounds, but we didn't really NEED it -- we already had a unified Space Command, under the Air Force. It's only a reorganization -- the Space Force has no new hardware that didn't exist before.

So -- why does anybody expect any better out of a second Trump term? What do you think he will accomplish?
