Update on Luna~

I'm so sorry -- I was wrong, and never been happier to be so.

There *was* a post on my FB page, about a Luna, but after nomoretears' posts I went back and it appears this is about a different Luna -- a baby. Still so sad, and again, I am so sorry for the confusion. My apologies all around; I'll investigate more thoroughly next time. But when I saw "Luna," obviously my thoughts went to "our" Luna.

After seeing the name Luna, I'd probably done the same. Like I said, that's one of the problems with a social network. There's so much on my newsfeed, you know? I'm just glad she's okay!

thanks for updating nomoretears, mostera, pennlady, aurora - i feel the prayers, healing energy, positive thoughts, and love and appreciate it!

so to set record straight before i crash for the night (wheelchair and me tangled and wheelchair almost came out on top, luckily someone was here to grab me and prevent the fall - ask aurora all about fighting with chairs)

I AM home - I WAS in a rehab for a month - I AM in a wheelchair unable to walk (since march 21st) - my entire body was seeverly atrophied due to being immobile, non-epileptic seizures, periods of temporary paralysis, and muscle spasms/lock-ups - i am getting stronger each day with OT and PT - no definitive diagnosis yet - hospital experience (2) were negative - did minimum testing - skilled nursing facility/rehab was very positive - adapting to this new experience with wee pixie and my parents taking over my parental role while i was away - its slow going, but shes such a big little helper and im just glad to be able to snuggle her anytime we want

never had proper neuro work-up...tomrrow go to Physiatrist for nerve conduction/muscle testing to help rule out neuro/muscular conditions like MS, Guillain Barre, hopefully they refer me to neurology and will finally do a lumbar puncture and look into the lyme aspect once adn for all - possible that all the orthostatic/heart rate/bp issues are neurological at their root...know more soon

frustrated beyond believe but staying positive, going with flow, knowing whatever it is or isnt ill deal with it and

thank you for caring so much, ive missed all of my friends here

Luna, you've been in my prayers for a long time as well as my thoughts. I am so upset that they've not ruled out Lyme disease already and would not be surprised if that isn't the diagnosis.

I will continue to think and send positive thoughts for you and offer up prayers.

estragon, typing slowly and with two fingers...writing will comein time i hope soon - my roomie at the rehab is a music teacher - we agreed she will write lyrics and i will write the book "being underaged in a nursing home" she was in her 50s

pennlady - *hug* me too!!

red - i dont get why govt downplays lyme over and over again ,lumbar puncture would be best to rule that out and other things, hoping can convince this doc to pursue it, have my family and my team of therapists to back me up on the urgency - ther was def progression over last several months

Just rest and take care of you. I am so glad you have a real life support system as well as an online one.

-- sadly Lyme Disease has reared its head so many times - in my opinion it should be one of the first things ruled out.

thank you everyone - yesterday was fustrating - however peripheral nerve disorders were ruled out during the nerve/muscle test - the mini tazer woke up my nervse, pretty amazing to have movement..doc was amazing, a cheerleader - his office messed up and i almost wasn't seen, but he took pity and compassion on me

- first thing doctor said was "you need a neurologist...these are central nervous system symptoms...they need to rule out things like MS" - i've had 3 episodes of full body paralysis lsating between 20 min-2 hrs since friday along with bright flahsing lights, room tilting, and unable to control eye movemnt -- i am waiting on a neurology appt have referral of urgency so hope that helps me get in asap

held it together 5 months...had the full body paralysis/seizure episode again today (3rd in 4 days)....today first day started slipping when neuro office after neuro office didn't accept my ins or see me until 3 months and the room tilting scares me more than anything...i forgot how to use sliding board to transfer to bed...and when OT was here and tried fine motor activties with me, i forgot how to do things...she isnt whether my brain is forgetting or my muscles are....but im taking deep breaths..pushing tears away... and tryin to garner more strength an positivity

Last I saw was the post where she said she lost the ability to speak. Being the holiday weekend it may be Monday. Her friend is usually fast though!
