What happened to the fun, Muff? Well three things:

First, there was the fun of watching you two squirm when you had been so very smug, knowing that you couldn't be beat, 'till I showed you that you not only could but would be beat.

Second, there was the fun of knowing that I was going to give PC to you as a gift. Hell, what would I do with him for a week? Looks too, well human for my taste. When Lavender declared it over I IMed you that there was no way that you were going to lose and why, so the fun of surprising you and PC was gone.

Third and most disapointing was knowing that regardlees of how hard I worked, how inventive I was, or how loyal my friends were when they begged points for me, Laurel was not going to let me win. Oh that she could shut it down at any time was always a posability, but that she would do so just to to rescue you two is very disapointing. Four minutes after I told you that you couldn't lose, Laurel retracted her bid. So her only interest was in helping you.

Nope, just not much fun anymore.

Actually, to be perfectly honest, I hadn't read the thread when I posted on it. It was the first time that I saw the PC Auction thread come up, and I thought what the hell, I'll make a bid. I thought my t-shirt thing was funny, guess I was wrong. Maybe if I'd taken the time to wade through the 4 pages of posts I would have known to shut my mouth. Instead, I posted and somehow got in the middle of something I still don't understand. Lesson learned. I usually try to stay out of these fun things, and now I remember why I do. I apologize to everyone involved, and will refrain from participating in these events in the future.

Don't be a cranky pooch, it was a great joke and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't think Laurel was trying to be mean or rain on your parade- she had no idea what you were trying to do.

Hell, no on knew what the heck you were doing except for you. For all we knew it was some kind of wierd bestiality experiment perpetrated by a mutt that got into the medicine cabinet and gobbled down too much prozac.

I appreciate that you, as a dog, had the intelligence and paw dexterity to make all those posts and round up all those points to buy me, and I'm extremely flattered, really I am.
