Hi. My name is ______________.
I used to post as a registered user. After hitting rock bottom I decided that registered posting was no longer an alternative. In order for me to be truly free of the bondage of self, I must remain unregistered. I came close to posting as a registered user just a little while ago and I am looking for anyone like me who wants to remain unregistered. Together we can do what we cannot do alone, one day at a time.
And remember, it's okay to be unregistered.
The 12 Steps of Unregistereds Anonymous
1. We admitted we were powerless over posting as registered users- that our threads had become unmanagable.
2. Came to believe that a power greater than self could restore us to sanity.
3. Made a decision to our posts and our threads over to the power of Unregistered as we understood Unregistered.
4. Made a searching and fearless inventory of posts, threads, and selves.
5. Admitted to Unregistered, ourselves, and another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.
6. Were entirely ready to have Unregistered remove all these defects of character.
7. Humbly asked Unregistered to remove our shortcomings.
8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed and became willing to make amends to them all.
9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.
10. Continued to take personal inventory and we were wrong, promptly admitted it.
11. Sought through prayer and meditiation to improve our conscious contact with Unregistered as we understood Unregistered seeking only knowledge of Unregistered's will for us and the power to carry that out.
12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to unregistered users and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
The 12 Traditions of Unregistereds Anonymous
1. Our common welfare should come first; personal recovery depends on UA unity.
2. For our group purpose there is but one ultimate authority- a loving Unregistered as that expresses itself in our group conscience. We have no leaders, we are all trusted servants; we do not govern.
3. The only requirement for UA membership is the desire not to post as a registered user.
4. Each group of UA is autonomous except in matters affecting UA as a whole.
5. Each group has but one primary purpose- to carry the message to the unregistered or registered user who suffers.
6. A UA group ought never endorse, finance, or lend the UA name to any outside enterprise lest problems of post-totals, usernames, avatars, prestige, and titles divert us from our primary purpose.
7. Every UA group is fully self-supporting.
8. Unregistereds Anonymous should forever remain non-professional, but we may employ the services of others.
9. UA, as such, ought never be organized; but we may create threads and posts directly responsible to those they serve.
10. UA has no opinion on outside issues, hence the UA name ought never be drawn into public controversy.
11. Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion; we need always maintain personal anonymity.
12. Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our traditions, ever reminding us to place principles before personalities.
"Unregistered, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference."
