That's also true. There are quite a few differences, it appears. My guy needs a bit of lubrication first, otherwise it hurts for him.

That's the thing, for my man, the head isn't entirely exposed when he's hard. However, He likes it to be, so I can pull the foreskin back. Maybe this means he's got medium length?

No, I don't. One the end of the foreskin slips over the ridge of the head, it pretty much stays there. It'll slip back if it's not entirely over though.

not too much of a difference, if the head is not fully exposed when erect, try gently pulling back the foreskin and just guage the reaction from the guy, he will tell you if it hurts!
