Couldn't update my profile either. It lets you make changes but when you press 'Save' it doesn't do anything.
I have trouble posting in the forum. Its been going on for a while. I get an error when I try to post, and can't save a draft.
I thought it might be a conflict with my browser, but sometimes it works fine.
I rarely update my profile, but it might be related.

Well, it doesn't do "nothing" for me. It registers in my activity feed that I made a change. It also registers to anyone who follows you, because I edited one of my other pen names that this one follows, and I got the notification.
Even if there's a cache issue with it being visible to the general public, I'm pretty sure that text field where you edit it is pulled directly from the database, and that's not changing after you save. So it's basically doing everything except perform its primary function of saving your changes. LOL
Two different browsers as well, because I'm logged in under Chrome for this name, and Firefox for the other pen name I edited.

lol, I keep wondering what the change is and why so many authors I follow are updating their profiles so much. This would explain it.

Okay, I just looked and my changes are reflected when you view the "about" tab of my profile on the forum for this name and RR. It still shows the old text in my control panel even after saving, which is weird.
The public profile I can understand taking some time to update, but the behavior of the editing field in the control panel is weird. I'm going to give it until tomorrow and see if the story side profile changes to reflect what I can already see in my forum profile, or whether this one goes back to the old version.

Well, both of mine are still accurate on the forum "about" page, and both still wrong on the public bio page. Also still holding onto the old data in the entry field of the options page. It's obviously being written to the database since it's holding accurate information on the forum. Must still be a separate database entry from the story side bio. I thought they might have consolidated them during the forum upgrade, but obviously not.
Anybody who's tried to update, click on your forum picture here and then find the "about" tab. See if it's showing your edited bio. I'm guessing it is. If that's the case for everybody else, it's a write fail for the story side.
