Comment bug?

Before when someone commented you would click on the link and it would take you to the comments page and you'd then click newest. Now you click and it goes to page one of the story and you have to go to the end to see them-or on your works page. Anyone else seeing this?

Yes, all story links in the author feed now go to the story. I guess it's consistent but it's not really useful from the author perspective.

I noticed this too. It's definitely annoying.

I believe this is how it used to be, but it was a nice addition when they had it go directly to the comment section.

Ah, well. Keep in mind this is the site that can't keep this stuff straight but thinks they can handle choose your own story features.

Has to have been in the last few days, because the last one I checked worked as expected, going to the comment page, but I'm seeing the same behavior everyone else is reporting now.

I do on new stories because the story page is much slower to update than the dashboard. When a comment pops up on the activity feed from the back catalog, unless it's really recent, it's usually available to check there and easier to do in my opinion.

Or was until this change/bug.

I read mine on the latest activity, I usually don't go into the works page.

I noticed it yesterday morning.

Checked my activity feeds, and it was three days ago when it was working as expected for me. That's my most recent comment, and I know it jumped directly to the comment section when I clicked the link.

Back in the day you'd see a red broken heart when someone unfaved you.

Lit changed that because I guess they thought it was 'mean'

I remember thinking, jeez, are people that thin skinned this would freak them out?

Then you look around at some of the threads in the forums and realize they were right.
