Um. Do you think Romney's win in the debate...

Probably to people of my political flavor.

I voted for Bush (twice), Obama last time, and am undecided between Romney and Johnson this time. I was leaning toward Johnson, but now am leaning toward Romney.

Mostly because Romney seems to be thumbing his nose at the extreme right and moving more toward the moderate position he had as governor.

I was registered a Democrat in my 20s, a Republican in my 30s, and an independent in my 40s. I basically don't care what people do, as long as I don't have to pay for it.

I'd probably not vote this round, except in Maryland we get to vote for gay marriage and gambling. I support both.

Nope. Mondale won his first debate with Reagan, of course he was behind 17 points at the time.

I think this election is basically over. Four more years.

As a fyi...I am a Republican.

...makes a difference?

Before the good news with the employment numbers came out today, it was about all that the media was covering. Now it's like the debate didn't even happen by the lack of mention by that same media.

The headline numbers were good news. The bad news is 800,000 people gave up looking for work. That's the reason the number went down.

Hallucinations are fun aren't they?:)

It's the news cycle, stupid. 24/7. Need a new headline. It's nothing nefarious or imagined. It's the nature of the news media. It's just worse now because of the intense competition for readers and viewers.

Your note inspired me to write my first posting here. I agree, while the numbers appear good, they are really awful. The numbers of people "leaving the workforce" shows the real state of this economy. And it's terrible at best

Your first post was way back in 2005.

BAHAHAHAHAHA weapons bans, Obamacare Beta/1.0, openly supporting TARP, gay marriage, pro choice and the 720 billion and some change worth of corporate welfare Obama sent to wall st. and massive support for the military industrial complex...

The guy has a hard on for massive gov. spending and infringement of peoples civil liberties and private property. I would hardly call the man's record as gov of MA "moderate" or even remotely close to conservatism.

Drop the rhetoric the puppet masters have him spouting off and he is every bit the liberal democrat Obama is from socialized health care to big deficit spending. Toss in the fact he is a bigger gun grabber than Obama and I would say the Governor of Massachusetts sit's squarely left of the current POTUS.

"RINO" doesn't do the man justice....blatant fraud and total sell out politician? Getting warmer....

Call me crazy but I don't know why the left isn't voting for him and the right voting for Obummer....
