Good morning babe. Sleep well?![]()
Not really
Took a tablet, was asleep before 10:30pm I think but then still woke at 4am, 5am, 6am and gave up at 7am.
Feeling well sorry for myself right now![]()

*Pats his newly-cleaned sofa.* Come for a cuddle? Be warned, I may fall asleep on you. I was still awake at 4am.
I'm sorry you've had such a rough night.![]()

Newly cleaned? wow, you expecting company? or is the RSPCA inspection due?
I had what - 5/6 hours solid drugged sleep so it's not all bad![]()
"Blearily struggles in" oh, looks like someone had a worse night than me, sorry to hear Tallulah, morning all... Tea is an amazing drink![]()

Well vicious rumours were flying around with regards to what I get up to on this sofa so I thought I'd have it cleaned to put people's minds at ease.
I may have to go nap soon. My eyes are heavy.
Hey skinny
oh shit - cup of tea! I put the kettle on an hour ago - sigh. Just gunna make a cup. Anyone want one? I am only serving PG tips today though![]()
Nice offer, thanks, dont mind if I do. Ever tried Yorkshire tea?
Ok - am signing off to go and sort out the world![]()
Perhaps he warms the mug sometimes?Yeah - I have always been 'meh' about it. But I do think half the issue is how someone makes it. My husband can make me a cuppa with same teabags and it can be like dishwater - urgh, while other times it is the perfect cuppa! Go figure![]()
My sympathies, but at least it's warm enough for you to have all the windows and doors open while you work, and any paint or plastering should dry more quickly on a day like this. The lost art of tea making! Don't get me started on milk before or after :-(
Sunny day, so it must be
Decorating, eurgh

BTW milk first, as long as you're familiar with the tea you've brewed and know how much milk it needs for the strength of brew you prefer. If it's mugbrewed with a bag, the milk has to go in afterwards or the water won't be hot enough to do its stuff.![]()
Good morning Lit people.

Good morning Walter
How is your new haircut working out for you?
Morning Tallulah. How kind of you to ask. I'm very pleased. I'm a new man!

If you ever go over to loose tea, one of my favourite blends is 2 parts English Breakfast, 1 part Ceylon, 1 part Assam.

I see you went to the hair dressers too. Are you pleased as punch?

A new man? Wow! I dread to think what you looked like before![]()
Oh yes - I am YOUNG again! (no greys haha) plus they were celebrating 30 yrs being open so I was offered some prosecco whist being chemicalled up - unfortunately I was driving so I just had orange juice instead AND I received a little votive candle as a thank you for being a customer![]()
Haha! Good effort by the hairdressers. It's the little things that count.
If I go towards the end of the day, I always take a bottle of fine wine to share with them. And I don't have to drive, so all is well.
