Not really :(

Took a tablet, was asleep before 10:30pm I think but then still woke at 4am, 5am, 6am and gave up at 7am.

Feeling well sorry for myself right now

*Pats his newly-cleaned sofa.* Come for a cuddle? Be warned, I may fall asleep on you. I was still awake at 4am.

I'm sorry you've had such a rough night. :rose:

Newly cleaned? wow, you expecting company? or is the RSPCA inspection due?

I had what - 5/6 hours solid drugged sleep so it's not all bad

Well vicious rumours were flying around with regards to what I get up to on this sofa so I thought I'd have it cleaned to put people's minds at ease.

I may have to go nap soon. My eyes are heavy.

I would be jealous that you were napping but my body is refusing to let me so am gunna crack on with some jobs after ive had this cuppa :)

Nice offer, thanks, dont mind if I do. Ever tried Yorkshire tea?

Yeah - I have always been 'meh' about it. But I do think half the issue is how someone makes it. My husband can make me a cuppa with same teabags and it can be like dishwater - urgh, while other times it is the perfect cuppa! Go figure :)

Perhaps he warms the mug sometimes?

If you ever go over to loose tea, one of my favourite blends is 2 parts English Breakfast, 1 part Ceylon, 1 part Assam.

The lost art of tea making! Don't get me started on milk before or after :-(

Sunny day, so it must be

Decorating, eurgh
My sympathies, but at least it's warm enough for you to have all the windows and doors open while you work, and any paint or plastering should dry more quickly on a day like this.

BTW milk first, as long as you're familiar with the tea you've brewed and know how much milk it needs for the strength of brew you prefer. If it's mugbrewed with a bag, the milk has to go in afterwards or the water won't be hot enough to do its stuff. :(

Spot on, I mch prefer tea from a pot, but at work this never happens.... So I am a serially bag-leaver... it stays in until I empty the mug. Gets deliciously flavoursome!

I truly don't know what he does with it

I have never blended my own tea - now there's an idea!

The only loose tea I buy is Darjeeling but usually for Christmas I receive Whittakers (?) tea collections (little tins with loose tea)

Morning Tallulah. How kind of you to ask. I'm very pleased. I'm a new man!

I see you went to the hair dressers too. Are you pleased as punch?

A new man? Wow! I dread to think what you looked like before  :p

Oh yes - I am YOUNG again! (no greys haha) plus they were celebrating 30 yrs being open so I was offered some prosecco whist being chemicalled up - unfortunately I was driving so I just had orange juice instead AND I received a little votive candle as a thank you for being a customer :D

Haha! Good effort by the hairdressers. It's the little things that count.

If I go towards the end of the day, I always take a bottle of fine wine to share with them. And I don't have to drive, so all is well.

By the way, I read your story yesterday. So well written. You have heaps of talent. Great idea too. Many an arousing thought throughout.

Thank you for sharing.

Whattt????? You actually take alcohol to your hairdressers (barbers?) - most excellent :D

Well the way I see it is that I pay between £60 and £80 per visit so they should give great customer service (which they do - they normally offer cups of tea etc). A little confession: I LOVE having my hair washed by someone else - it feels so indulgent to have someone massaging my scalp etc *shivers* and the treatments they put on my hair smell lovely to boot :D
