Morning all, I think GA is responsible for all things wrong here of course, partly because he always forgets the duster and blames the visitors for drinking his beer.

Not a good day or night for sleeping so the forecasters say, good luck as I guess you will need to get refreshed. Even the wind of yesterday has eased...

Working form home today so at least it's possible to wear what I want

Its warm here already (Somerset) which is fine through the day, but I'm not looking forward to a hot humid night ( no, not that kind of hot night!)

Having trouble sleeping in this heat? Get a bottle with a tight fitting lid (a hot water bottle is the best!!) fill it with ice cold water and snuggle it in bed! Delicious!

A fan on full power worked quite well for me last night. I had to go out today though and it was very hot. Tomorrow and Thursday I am definitely not going out.

Morning all, stonking storms up here last night, the downside being crap sleep...

13 hot muggy miles to work on a bike this morning, first time this year it was way too warm even before 8...

Oh, and if you’re looking to experience a wide range of personal hygiene up close and personal, the Tube is a delight this morning.

To be fair, I wasn’t even in the U.K.
The only casualty from my week away was that my phone case actually melted in the mid-day inferno.

It was far too hot and it really has been a brutal few days for other reasons too.

Hi to the night owls! Rough one today, up at 5:30 trying to figure out where the water dripping through the bedroom ceiling was coming from, on the roof at 6:45 sorting it out, and haven't had 5 mins since. Hope the rain stops for cycling tomorrow.
