Good evening, UK, an observation: out of seven B&Bs we stayed at in various locations in western Scotland, four were owned and run by English people. I thought that was kind of weird.

Why weird? English folk move and Scotland is a nice place to move to! Freedom of movement still exists... though I do believe that the English are not all the popular anywhere other than England, and even then not always!!

Sounds like you got the weather to appreciate Scotland... but in Yorkshire you don't have to worry about good weather as it's always sunny around here!! XxX

Morning all, can't promise naughty today but it's sunny again - must mean a Bak Holiday is approaching as it's getting the good weather out of the way... just in time for Janet's bike ride!!

I hope it goes really well, I bet you are looking forward to it now, all the practice laying off? My annual weekend trip with a few mates is in mid-June ... Glasgow back to N Yorkshire in about 2.5 days, luggage included... need some hill practice!!

Peterborough was alright. Norwich was the pleasant surprise of that trip. We'll end up in London for a couple days since we'll fly out of Heathrow. We'll probably see a play and the summer exhibition at the RA.
