Nope, you??
Day on site in N Wales, long train ride home and a late bed but that's fine, might not get much proper food though!

Fine in Somerset though cooler than yesterday. I'm static so I can't vouch for anywhere else though I suspect Bristol is much the same

I did!

I growled and snarled (not in 'imaginary dog' mode either)

Today will be a loud shirt and cheerful demeanour (unless someone tries to piss on my fireworks)

Say: Welcome Friday! ....and sing along to JJ Cale, my weekend anthem for so many years now..

Welcome Friday!
It started badly when I locked myself out of Lit. God knows how or why it happened but I am alright and recovering.

Indeed it very Welcome FRIDAY

Morning all - Pol, Nick, strange, wander... and anyone else dropping in who I missed and don't want to offend!

Yay, Friday indeed, home at 11.15 last night and back on the bike to ride in to work by 7.45... beer tonight will be needed! Whilst it's cooler here did you see the moor fires in N Scotland? Scary flames earlier this week!

Morning all... well, is there anyone bothering calling by? I am sad... only me has so little to do in rl that they drop by here on a weekend... sob ...

Evening...busy weekend, sorry Lucy!

Time today though, for a lovely steady 42 or so miles alongside the beautiful Witham today in preparation for my big ride next Saturday night, just to keep the pedals turning...only one unintentional ingestion of protein which was surprising considering the number of insect life apparent but it certainly meant that it was teaming with birds too...lovely-I even heard a cuckoo for the first time on 10 years...

Gooooooood evening, UK! :) Greetings from sunny and very bonnie Scotland.. Been in the country for a full week now and only got rained on one day, ‘twasn’t even proper rain, just a persistent drizzle. Bonnie indeed, downright glorious, I’d say!

Hi Dee, have you been to Loch Lomond yet? My ancestral home is in the village of Luss.( Luss not lust) . Otherwise head to Fife and Pittenweem. ( paternal grandmothers) a beautiful and romantic country.

Good morning Dee!

It's too many years since I have been up to the west cost of Scotland...I hope you continue to enjoy a great trip.

Safe travels

Morning! And thanks! It’s been 20 years since I was last up here, and you know what, it’s as lovely as ever.

I feel Loch Lomond is like the gateway drug to the Highlands, once you experience it you’re hooked and always to come back and want more. We’re staying along the west side with some island hopping, no time for Fife I fear.

A great way to describe Loch Lomond!

Oh I know!!! Don’t think I haven’t googled distances... Do you ever go to Dumfries? For work maybe? With enough time to squeeze in a cup of tea? On Wednesday mornings, say?? That’s the closest I’ll be to you. Sigh.

I’ll be posting some piccies after the trip.

You see it too then? I find the yearning to come back never leaves me.

Gosh, greetings Dee, in this country and I am not in Scotland, drat!! Sure we can't tempt you into Yorkshire?? I can offer hugs and tea XX

Janey, Nick, Pol - good morning too.

Janey - good luck, I am sure you will be fine given how well prepared you are... I have to say you protein observation took my mind somewhere else... :)

Back to my desk... a little diversion to say hello, have a fab day all

Monday greetings to all :)

Aching today, after Sunday at the funfair!! Suppose that's what I get for refusing to grow up
