No worries LG. . . I know there are folks that will post randomly and that is okay. I don't see this thread as "clogging" the boards. It is up there where it can be seen right now and not buried pages back on the main page. It will be and when it is needed it will be revived again. I don't see this thread any different then the rest it is here if people wish to post on it. They don't need to read it and they don't need to stop and post. I just don't need to respond to unkind people there is no point, it gives them what they desire. I won't lower myself to degrading them or their posts either. I just don't need to respond to them.

I know, and I apologize Red...I can usually control the infamous temper that comes along with the hair...and I felt that I did a pretty good job of it here, but apparently not well enough. I am one that tells all of the newbs to not feed the "trolls" and here I am, doing the same...when will I EVER learn?

I started out in AM PICS, then the Playground. Then stumbled onto the GB. I found the banter, wit and type of people on the GB to be refreshing and fun. In my perspective, the Playground seems to be a kinder/gentler forum. The GB appears to be more grounded in reality, or as real as any online forum can get.

Reality? Ah yes the reality of war and that is why they (gb)attack newbies right? The playground is friendly because they realize this is just cyber land where they can escape everyday real life and not to debate on a *porn forum.*

No worries. I really do like BW's idea and hope after yesterday we can restart the idea behind the thread. It may be asking to much, but I don't see why. It just takes a little self control from everyone. Not GB people and not PG people or other folks but everyone. Why belittle each other, it makes no sense, it isn't like we're all going back to school and meeting each other behind the bleachers for a fist fight. Everyone knows there is tension, but in the end they are flat words on a screen.

It took me some time to realize that myself, but I have and I can't make everyone in the world happy. I'm just going to post where I desire. If I upset a particular person and I feel that by me being away from someplace makes their lit experience better I won't hang out there often. In this case this is a thread I started so no matter where it is I'll be here.

I know attacks on "newbies" happen and it is unfair, but I don't mind debates on either forums. We've had some on the PG, the only difference is we don't start slamming with one liners, one PG person tried that with me and I finally had enough and told him to lay off, because his inability to act like an adult was showing and he was behaving like a 12 year old.

Debates are good and help people see things from a different perspective. I just ask that they not be malicious. I know it happens, but it doesn't have to.

I was able to greet this young man yesterday. It is sad he was treated harshly, but it looks like he is enjoying himself.
