It's been a long day, we are heading out for dinner in a few minutes. We were supposed to leave at 6 but I'm the only one woman in the house and the only one who was ready on time.

So, I had an idea yesterday to get Islam outta the news. We target the source - Islam itself. Mecca. Medina. Funky Hawt Medina. Saudi Arabia. We reduce it to a parking lot, keeping the oil reserves, of course, to help pay for it all.


We call this a war of liberation (for the rest of the world and my poor Islamic sensibilities), and we name it Operation Saudi Liberation. OSL And we pronounce it "asshole."


I think it's a winner . . . .

Is this the scary-looking military-style weapon that the anti-gun nuts are always going on about?

I've fired both weapons, and the SKS may be a tad more accurate from a pure shooting point of view.


Still, mine is properly sighted in for Kalashnikov ammo and will hit well at 100 yards.


I'm still of the opinion, based on my experiance, that we're all fortunate as shit that he wasn't any more a shooter than he was.

Got back from a regular checkup and there is a huge hickory tree across the drive, and I mean freaking huge...


It will take some time to cut it up and clear the drive, but eventually, it will be good wood for the fireplace.

Oh no. It gets worse...



I could not keep the chainsaw running. I think the gas is old and even though it was "fixed" it just seems to be bad. So Princess is out picking up some chemicals. I alternated between getting the damned thing running and using the handsaw(s). Finally, it would not run for more than 10-20 seconds, so I tried to finish by hand. My arms feel like noodles.

Tomorrow, I will take the damned thing apart and clean everything and mix fresh gas.

If this ain't done by the weekend, the Queen will want to...
