Yeah, it shows up twice a week - just goes "poof" into the bank account.

Of course, I do spend considerable time with weasels getting that to happen.

I was listening on the radio yesterday to people whine about living in places without broadband and how they use their phones for internet, living in fear of going over their plans. I have no idea how much data I use, but I bet I could convert to the smallest allowable plan and still have room to spare.

It's a challenge. It's also a good thing that Lit doesn't eat up too much bandwidth unless some asshole stretches the screen...

:p
:nana:

Mine's a rectangle...
The toaster died years ago! Back in the days of the local BBS.

You just brought back some memories. :) I used Wildfire and Excalibur but I had a lot of fun on the old BBS systems.

It's getting grey out, I'll need to skedaddle soon too.

I think you two are slacking, we were out the door at 4 and already working before the sun came up, this is coffee break time :)

Well, it's hard to weed the garden in the dark.

I might hoe the wrong row... ;)

I had a neighbor once who when it got too hot would do his weed whacking late at night. Once it was 2:30 in the morning and I had enough so I called the police who threatened to fine me for wasting their time and I told them to show up and do so. They pulled up to see the 80-year-old neighbor topless, wearing only pajama bottoms and slippers holding a flashlight in one hand and a weedwhacker in the other. They laughed in their car for a good five minutes before they composed themselves and got out to deal with him.

Happy Wednesday!!! Also, happy payday and happy summer!!!

I've been in the online banking windows paying up the middle of the month bills-n-crap. I do it early so it'll hurt less.

The new downstairs a/c turns itself off entirely when it hits temperature. If I were spending more time down there, it would take awhile to get used to, I think.

it's also a higher SEER rating than I've ever seen or a portable. Isn't that nice? ;)

Happy "I'm still waiting for my new gun" day.:(:D

*chuckle*

When I was a teenager, we observed two strangers stealing the neighbor's van. We called the police, but was informed that they could send no one because of "shift change"

Typically cops hate to do anything that requires them to work overtime to write a report.

The garden is 90% weeded, but I came in when it hit 80 to shower, cool down and get ready to run some errands.

I had to give up on my regular peas and I doubt if I saved much as far as the snow-peas go. I was harvesting green beans as if they were banana clusters. the beans are still blooming, but unfortunately so is the arugula, I already had to pull the spinach and soon, I'm going to have to begin to seriously harvest lettuce before it starts to go to seed.

The damned South American plants that came as volunteers in a packet of unrelated seeds are coming up everywhere to try and take over the garden again. I would kill all of them, but I've tried several times to introduce them to settings where I would like them to grow, but they refuse to grow anywhere but the garden. One more try...

I just realized the Mimosa trees were not only in full bloom, but somehow, it snuck up on my, like my kid turning into an adult, that they have grown so tall that you only really see the blooms from a distance away, not so much under the tree. Peruvian lilies are still blooming and I have established asiatic lilies that are as tall as I am. The one thing about the humidity is that it really holds the scent and not just of the lilies, but the roses too. The day lilies are going gangbusters, but they really don't have all that much in the way of a scent. Even the last of the bittersweet is able to overpower them even though they are everywhere.

The purple coneflowers are approaching four feet tall and are spectacular. July is around the corner, so soon the crepe myrtle will begin busting out, and we have a lot of that too.

Blackberries and elderberries are beginning to ripen. Soon bushels of goodness for the womenfolk.

Just to let you know, life is good...

Cops are the same all over. I respect that they do a job that I don't want to do but too many of them thought of the glory and forgot all the tedium that comes with the job.

And 4est you just reminded me that I need to put in my order for elderberry pies! There is a group of women who make them every year and they are amazing.

Pies are ordered, also ordered a few other items, my bank account is less but in a few weeks, my freezer will be fuller.

It's been a long day, we are heading out for dinner in a few minutes. We were supposed to leave at 6 but I'm the only one woman in the house and the only one who was ready on time.
