Yep, you may have some old breakers, too. Also look to see what else is on the circuit. It might not just be the a/cs. Eliminate what can be moved to another circuit and see if that alleviates some of your overload issue.

They called for rain, then they called for humid sunniness. It's really just hight overcast and all kinds of humid.

I'm staying in and rolling a year's worth of accumulated change.
I have $70 in quarters so far . . . .

Storms have missed us completely but they left the humidity.

And I can write off the cost of an electrician so I don't do any of that anymore. I did unplug a bunch of phantom load items though.

I should deal with my coins, they have piled up as well :(

This is a high-end car show for flyers, I've been to the one in Detroit and some of the displays are amazing.

This is more like an illegal quarter mile and flag girl.

I'm so glad the guys cooked today while I was gone, but I wish they had the same standards of clean kitchen that I do *sigh*

I still do my own electrical work because I'm limping along on the last legs of this decaying panel box. Maybe I'll replace it this fall, or maybe next spring. We'll see. But if it keeps eating up main breakers at $43 a pop, it'll be sooner rather than later.

I could be ever so happy with a plain Jane Roadrunner or Super Bee from 1968, when there were few options and relatively cheap. The cheap original versions are still cheaper than the hot versions.

There's a 1969 GTX for sale down the road a couple of miles from here. That would do, too.

Out of here again shortly . . . .

I'm trying to decide...

Is this a blue-collar philosophy thread or a redneck hooter-nanny thread.

Maybe we need a poll. Waking up to another incident in England, looks like the news entertainment cycle is going to shift again.

The weekend left me so dehydrated that I had leg cramps in my sleep.

Even my coffee holds little interest for me.

I need to switch to water...

Oh I was downing bottled water like your crazy uncle downs vodka at a wedding reception...

I was just sweating it out too fast. It was a 'wet' heat.

The worst part is wearing glasses to follow the paperwork and having sweat dripping down the lenses...

And of course the warehouse is a good ten degrees warmer than the outside air, and once the sun hits the trailers, even warmer in them.

They cancelled a World Series over money.

Not Opening Day mind you, but the Series!

I never forgave them rat bastards.

You can hit .230 and be a multi-millionair.

How stupid to they think I am?

Car batteries will die in subzero temperatures but the taclight works after being frozen in a block of ice!

Which is fucking 32º...

Actually, there are some choirboys among the thugs...

Some of them, like Joe Daddy Stevenson are reformed thugs. He took a real beating this season in a comeback bid, but he reduced me to tears over his love of the sport and his fellow competitors.

I know first-hand where he's coming from.

The shop is basically a warehouse with no windows and the double doors open into a small room with a window and another set of double doors. I finally broke down and installed a thermometer, once the temps hit a certain point we are done until the temps go down again. When I checked it at 6 it was already at 86*, that's why we've been starting at 4:30 am lately and are finished here by 10 am.

As for sports, I got nothing.

Now if you want to talk vacation spots, I've been daydreaming lately.

Don't do DC.

Serious.

I used to like Manzanilla, but it just doesn't seem as safe any more.

I'd like to go back and see how China has changed, but that doesn't seem safe any more...

Actually, I just like to stay home any more. I hate traveling, I hate planes and I hate crowds. Now there's a thread on Montana and the thread is people-free, so maybe Montana is the place to visit. I'm sure they have at least one hotel with suites. Ya think?
