I want an 'Enry J or a Willy's. Four twenty-six with a massive birdcatcher on top of a Roots bloower please.

I think that the 60s are as far back as I want to go.
I'm not sure about anything past '72 either.
Even with the music. ;) ;)

I had some Billy Holiday on this morning.
Now, that's some music, mighty fine music...

The Arrow was a shitload better than the Cricket.

My Engrish teecher in tennf grade had one of them. The doors were full of water, and there was no way to get it out except by drilling a hole in them, and then it either runs on the inside of the car or on the outside. It would look so appealing with a couple of holes in the doors . . . on a car she still owed money on.

Six foot tall Viking-type blonde - the stuff of teen boy fanatsies. Legs that would go around your head three times . . . .

She liked the fact that she could reach the entire interior of the car from the driver's seat.

I had never seen that model. Could you get it with a 318?

Looks like a Datsun B210.

How irritating voice-to-text wants to change Datsun to Days Inn.

It does, now that you mention it. Plymouth cozied up to the Nipponese to make their first little cars since long time to compete with Pintos and Vegas. Like such needed to happen.

I cuss me some talk-to-text on a daily basis. It makes some of the Allah-damnedest conversions, shit I can't even fathom sometimes.

Now I'm wracking my brain trying to remember her name. She was adorable.

lol

The quintessential muscle car. I once had an Arrow. It was a tiny POS but it got me from point A to point B. It was even the color of a lemon.

My Gremlin X was apple red and I still have the gas cap in a shadow box with some pictures. It was my second car, the first was a green pinto pony which I had to get a bomb bar installed on to pass safety. I miss the old beaters.

Turning that into a gasser should be a hanging offense. Only a Comanchero...

Not taking it completely apart and making it black, that's a least a misdemeanor.

Spent a lot of time shooting the .22 yesterday afternoon. It was without the scope. I kept consistently shooting to the right so the scope goes back on after a good cleaning. Don't want to give the tree rats any advantage.
I think the front sight may not be true. I will have to investigate.

I had children by my third car so it was a Reliant K Car, it ran great until the day it didn't. Now a base a lot of car purchases on reliability, gas mileage and comfort.

Happy Tuesday!!!

Can a hammer and a drift pin/set be used to adjust the front sight? I had to move the front sight on my M1A, but that was easy. Loosen an Allen screw, move it a bit, and then tighten the screw tight as dick's hatband.

Of course, there was lots of thinking to be certain to move it in the proper direction.

I got lucky and got it right the first time.

If the sight is mounted in a dovetail get a front sight pusher......or find someone that has one.

Universal Sight Tool

Or just pound it with a hammer and drift pin. :D

...

It's a really cheap-ass .22, Walmart, if I remember. The front sight is fixed. The back sight, not much better, you can slide it up and down some notches, but that doesn't do much. That's why I use the cheap scope on it. I think that came from Academy.

I might be able to do something with a pair of needle-nose pliers, but other than that, it is what it is. Now that the mood has passed, the scope is going back on. I vetoed the motion by the tree rats to keep it off.

:D
