The moral of the story is, don't try to seal a parking lot when it's too close to freezing, no matter what people tell you. Then you won't have to do it again when it does (finally) warm up.

At home today with sick pups. I'm not sure what they got into but I'm hoping they get better quickly. At least there's lots of coffee when I'm the only one here.

It was a rainy day in the forecast, but it looked all to be south and east of us, so I said, let's work.


We got a shitload of stuff done today - all outside, of course.


Allah has been merciful and generous with his blessings these last three days. If he will allow the rain to hold off one more day, I'll give him a . . . mini-14!!!

Not me brother. Ever fired an M-14 full auto? It's brutal. You aren't going to hit anything after the first round. The 10 has a little less recoil but it's a LOT lighter so the same problem exists. Muzzle climb puts it damn near in the AA category.
 
I went to a 2 hour philosophy forum at a local college tonight, 8 people including me. I shared a couple of my ideas and they were respected.

It was fun!

It's almost time for some of that "free" coffee that they have here. More like free "coffee."


I seem to have contracted a bit of contact dermatitis on my left hand and forearm. I just love that crap. I think that a bottle of Benadryl is in my near future. I had some of that crap go systemic about the time I joined this place. That was a bear, but Benadryl knocked it out.


Maybe I have no tolerance for it any more. Who knows???

I'm still nursing a sick pup, if he's still sick tomorrow we go back to the vets to find out what is wrong.

So we post in this wee thread mostly to avoid the Swamp Thing of Teh St000pid that lurks "out there." Maybe . . . and then, one day, maybe the Thought Police will shut the whole thing down. I feel confident that, if Ownership is no longer pleased by this forum, it'll go "poof" in the night.

Good morning all.

Fever is not good WK. Aspirin, Chicken Soup, lots of liquids, and rest.

Today is tidy up the yard day. Get everything organized for the evenings around the chiminea to come. I probably should start some mash so I can spike the neighbors wine. :)

Ever notice how it's almost always a SJW that starts the whining threads about the board? Or how it's almost always the SJW alts that troll the threads paying no heed to relevancy?

One or more should be making their appearance in this thread shortly.

Yes. It is noticeable. They follow their targets to take up fights from other threads if they aren't getting the attention they crave and if they don't think they told you off and ridiculed you enough and then they whine about the good old days and how much better this place would be if they could just get rid of the right-wingers. And they think that this is how you win elections, by shutting people up, down and out.

And, if you don't succeed, then like the wind in the parable of the man and his coat, you blowhard twice as mean as before.
