That's true of all of us to one degree or another.

I suppose you're right there.

I probably should put the damn shotgun back together. I'll think on it.

I still have this shit pot full of 38 spcl match ammo (148gr. DEWC). I need to sell it or buy a pistol and I'm not interested in a pistol.

That is a dilemma.

Dear Online Sellers of Anything,

Good Morning!!!

Why in the love of fucking Allah would you post something online for sale without a motherfucking picture??? What in the name of the last prophet are you thinking? I know, teck-know-lojee is hard, but that's why you had grandchildren, to he'p you to lurn how to do shit like taking-n-posting a piccie with your ad. Want my money? Then post a piccie. Don't have grandchildren? Borrow one from someone else, and pay them for helping you!!!

Do have any grandchildren? Then thanks be to Allah for his mercies and great blessings that you didn't reproduce

Love, Wat

Morning Wat.

You're in rare form this morning. Shop for a scope, you'll feel better and I won't feel like I'm the only one. :D

Mornin' back atcha.

I guess that I'm giddy from half a pound of bacon, three eggs, and Sriracha sauce. And coffee.

I'm thinking that, if I re-scope that rifle, that I want something that'll go to 12 - 16 power for being able to see shit at long range, since it's got the reach-out-and-touch-someone ability. Do I wanna spend Leupold-type money? For something I'll shoot a day or two once every 2-3 years? But it's be ready for the Rainy Decade, and our next Dummie-prez may bring such to pass.

Maybe when the next bonus comes through the door . . . .

The Kid has a Nikon mounted on his 300. The clarity is impressive, it holds zero, and the BDC works well. I'd have no prob. with it out to 400 yds +/-. And it's economical as well. It's not really suitable for serious long range work but the price point and performance over normal ranges is spot on.

On another note, the change in time and weather means a change in diet too. So yesterday while I was putting the car back together I put some pinto's on so I could feast on Burrito's. Well, they cooked, and cooked, and cooked and they're still tougher than an aged range run Bull's chuck steak. I let that bag sit in the pantry a tad too long it seems. Even beans have a shelf life. I still want my burrito's so off to the store in a bit.

I'm going to throw the one's I cooked in the garbage..............or reload them as a buck shot replacement.

That's because we're all morning people with no tolerance for moroning people.

I just came back in from upgrading the latest Politically Incorrect stickers on my truck. "Question Authority" has been one of my favorites for years. Decades.

I like the scope. It's in the ballpark of what I was thinking budget-wise, too. I saved the link. I'm still going to wait to see if Redfield will come through with an offer I don't refuse.

I've been doing burritos for lunch a lot more lately. Cheap-n-easy. Fiber. Gotta have/love fiber . . . .

Redfield was once a premier name but some years back decided they would try to compete with Bushnell. Bad decision. They've recently decided to try to regain the prestige they once had and upped their game. I haven't looked at their recent offerings.

I have an old Redfield Range Finder in 4-12 pre Bushnell decision days. Not quite up to today's standards but still a quality piece of glass.

Let me know what you find out about them.

Sure, I'll keep you posted. I'll be curious what they have to offer for themselves.

I'm aspiring for the one I don't refuse.

Of course, if they decline to do anything, I may refuse the offer but will still be left with a shite scope. I really did like the old one.

After the Intensive Care Bear thread (next), we may wind up with Hemis Shooting Bacon at 1K Metres . . . .
