In the hopefully unlikely Trump victory he intends to slap a 10 % tariff on all imports,and to deport millions.
This will mean an increase to the cost of living overall,as well as food prices sky rocketing as the migrant workers will not be picking crops.
While this is happening there are going to be international reprisals by tariffs on US goods leading to a global recession.
The GOP believes that the US can exist in isolation and a Trump victory will prove them wrong.
